Success!!!

L called just as I was leaving the office. She had a high beta: 286!

B. F. P. !!!

We are shocked, thrilled, and very grateful. I am at the airport now. I will write more on the plane and post it tonight.

I am thrilled to hear about your BFP!! Quality counts! :)
I hope that all goes smoothly and that your next 38 weeks is perfectly uneventful.
Congratulations (WOW! 286–did both of those little buggers take? :)

    Julia -

Thanks. I can’t argue with you. :-) Quality, indeed, seems to count. :-)

My new favorite number is 723 (7 eggs, 2 perfect embryos, 3 day transfer).

As for twins, the RE’s office seemed to forecast to L that that could be a possibility. We’ll just have to see. Either way, we’re just soooo thankful for our good fortune.

Now, since you’re so good in the support and advice department, I trust you’ll keep funneling me with information since you’ve got a 20 week head start? I need all of the help I can get. :-)

    Andrea,

Thanks! We’re hoping that you’ll have equally good news just a few weeks after us too! :-)
